Concorde Worldwide Awards Chauffeur, Ty Pender!

 

Concorde Worldwide awards Chauffeur of the Year to Tyrus Pender. The announcement was made on Saturday, January 30th at the company’s annual Employee Appreciation Dinner at the Battleground Country Club, Manalapan, New Jersey.  The award program is now in its 18th year and recognized one elite chauffeur among a team of 65.Concorde Worldwide Awards Chauffeur

Ty, as his fellow colleagues call him, celebrated his two year anniversary with Concorde this past October. Since joining the company, he quickly became one of our top chauffeurs by providing  on-the-road safety, reliability, professionalism and excellent customer experiences. A member of  the dispatch team, who works daily with the chauffeurs, was happy to share that “Ty has strong work ethics, always willing to make himself available and consistently goes above and beyond in his responsibilities.”

To be nominated for Chauffeur of the Year, every chauffeur must have an excellent driving record, outstanding customer service etiquette, CDL (Commercial Drivers License), pass a specialty training class, and have an excellent work relationship with dispatch and employees.

Concorde Worldwide has one of the industry’s top chauffeur training programs that includes 3-days of classroom and on-the-road training. “Chauffeurs are generally the first, and perhaps the only person, the client will meet face-to-face from the company,” says Jeff Bellagamba, Executive Vice President. “It is their specialized training, expertise, knowledge, and customer service that plays a crucial part to the success of building customer relationships and creating a life-long client.” Among the many commendations Ty receives from clients, one customer expressed, ” Our president commented how courteous, friendly yet professional he was” and another satisfied client stated “Our family appreciated his urgency during a very difficult rainstorm.”

Concorde Worldwide awards Chauffeur of the Year by recognizing his/her accomplishment with a plaque in addition to a package that includes an overnight in either New York City or Philadelphia, chauffeured transportation to and from a five-star hotel, and dinner for two at the city’s finest restaurant. Ty will be celebrating this special evening with his wife, Priscilla.  Please join us as we congratulate Ty on his award.

 

 About Concorde Worldwide Chauffeur Training:
Concorde Worldwide chauffeurs are required to pass a comprehensive training program of over 40 hours of instruction that includes on-the-road training and vehicle safety. In addition, each chauffeur is required to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and pass a mandatory defensive driving course taught by one of our three onsite certified National Safety Council instructors. Our chauffeurs are the most thoroughly trained and knowledgeable in the industry.
