New York City’s Annual Feast of San Gennaro

San Gennaro Feast

The 91st Annual Feast of San Gennaro will be held in Little Italy from September 14th – 24th. It takes place on the streets of historic Little Italy, the lower Manhattan neighborhood. These areas served as the first home in America for hundreds of thousands of Italian immigrants. They immigrated here seeking to improve their lives beginning in the early part of the 20th century.

This festival is the city’s longest-running and most honored religious outdoor festival in the U.S.A. It is presented by a not-for-profit community organization; Figli di San Gennaro, Inc. (Children of San Gennaro). It is dedicated to keeping alive the spirit and faith of the early Italian immigrants.
